1932 MG -chassis #J0363 This unique MG J-type Midget with its own captivating backstory represents everything that was right in pre-war British sports car design. This particular J-type engine was restored in England by noted pre-war MG expert Len Bull. Powered by the tried and true inline water-cooled overhead-cam 4-cylinder 847cc engine with twin carbs, the drivetrain has been fully rebuilt, with the proper 4-forward-speed transmission and very good mechanicals throughout. Body and fenders in British racing green are in very good shape, with excellent door fit, and an older repaint that still shows well and can easily be made perfect. Very good Dunlop tires on the correct excellent centre-lock, detachable wire wheels. Perfectly fit leather tonneau and sides, leather seats, excellent dashboard and instrumentation and very good Dunlop tires on the correct excellent centre-lock, detachable wire wheels. Chassis number J0363. Many in the MG and J-type communities will recognize the pedigree of this gem, and may remember its history on many tracks and hill-climbs throughout New England and beyond.
