LATE 19TH C. BRITISH FRIGATE DIORAMA. Paint-decorated port-side view in open waters with mirrored background and sides housed in a oak case with floral decorated pediment and beaded edges ending on knob feet, 19 1/2” H x 19” L x 6” D. Condition: good stable condition retaining the majority of its parts and pieces in place. Ingrained dirt throughout and dust on the molded waves, some of the paper cut-out figures have fallen overboard. Mizzenmast likely a later replacement. Some loss of beading.
