Sweet Art Deco style platinum pin (14K white gold pin stem) with ribbon and bow swirls around two Old European cut diamonds each approximately .70 ct., K-L color, VS-VVS clarity, fair-good cut, accented by approximately .60 ct. tw. Old European, Old Mine and single cut side diamonds, H-L color, VS-SI clarity. Accented by small calibre cut synthetic emeralds (one is missing). It measures 1 ½ by ¾ inches. 6.8 grams. Early 20th C. oil on canvas, painted by Windsor VT artist Louis Frieda, after Maxfield Parrish's "Old King Cole" mural in the King Cole Bar at the St. Regis Hotel, NYC. This painting is cited in "Maxfield Parrish, a Retrospective," by L.S. Cutler, as having hung in the undertaker's shop in Windsor, VT. The painting descended through undertaker's family. Fine Matthew Egerton Federal Tall clock, bonnet with signature star punch motif, three gilded finials, stripe inlay, and gilded rosettes. Case with corner columns, banded and other geometric inlay. Hand painted moon phase dial. Original label on inside of door reading ”Matthew Egerton Cabinetmaker, in Burnett St, New Brunswick N.J.”. with weights, pendulum, key and winding key. 95”H, bonnet 19.5”W x 10.5”D. Condition: the case is in very good original condition with the exception of old repair work done to the feet, patch to swans neck back facing original, pierced bonnet backed with fabric some holes however wood work not damaged, dial of clock with some flaking but original paint, works restored in 2007 by The British Clockmaker, VT, see paperwork.

Charles Robert Patterson (New York, 1878-1978) oil on canvas, “The American Ship Abner Coburn,” titled on plaque, signed lower right, with Quester Gallery label on reverse, in a gilded wooden Newcomb-Macklin frame. Stretcher: 25” x 30”; Frame outside dimensions: 32.5” x 37.5”; Frame interior dimensions: 25.25 x 30.5”. Condition: lined, some slight craquelure. (The Abner Coburn was built for the NY - Orient Trade and sailed this route from 1882-1900. In 1900 she was sold to CA Shipping Company and for them, she sailed for the next 29 years in the Pacific and Arctic seas. In 1912, she was sold to San Francisco ship brokers and sailed between CA and Alaska working in the salmon trade until about 1925. She was scrapped in Edmonds, WA in 1929)
