TWO LATE 19TH C. CANES: FLUTE AND PIPE. The flute cane with polished bone knob, brass ferrules, and turned rosewood shaft, 37 3/4”. The pipe cane with carved rosewood shaft and porcelain pipe with painted scene by Antonin Leksa. The upper portion screw-off portion of the cane conceals pipe mouth piece. 33 1/2” H. Condition: The flute cane with some light and nicks scratches throughout, a loose upper portion and an old chip below the middle ferrule. The pipe cane with aged patina, some light abrasions and remnants of old adhesive to bottom near brass foot. The mahogany knob possibly replaced.
