William Stubbs, (ME/MA 1842-1909) oil on canvas portrait of the 3 masted schooner Maggie S. Hart, laid on board, signed lower left WP Stubbs, 22” x 36” in a later frame, along with portraits of the ship’s Capt. Alden Carleton Chaney and his wife ca. 1886, 20” x 16”, and the ships ledger. Condition: laid on masonite, small areas of in-paint in sails, portraits also laid on masonite with some paint loss.
