An eccentric collection of 20th C. Design with a focus on Mid-Century furnishings from a classic Norwich VT 1960's home, featuring Danish furniture, abstract paintings and Asian antiques, decor and accessories. Plus items from the estate of renown New England modernist sculptor Roger Prince, Walpole, NH, and the from the estate of NYC photographer Ernest Silva. 



Roger Prince (1923-2021) was an accomplished modernist sculptor who produced a large body of work in bronze and clay sculpture throughout his lifetime. A native of Turner, Maine, Prince served in the Air Force in WWII, and attended Colby College and Columbia University. He received a Fulbright scholarship and studied sculpture in Italy. He went on to exhibit his work across New England, including in the 1960 Whitney Museum Biennial, where his work was praised by critics. He taught art and sculpture in Maine and Connecticut, becoming Dean at the Silvermine School of Art. He ran the Danbury, CT art center for 15 years. After decades of actively participating in and enriching the art and antiques communities of New England, Prince and his wife Nancy finally settled in Walpole, NH.
